Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered into a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Perry County Court Docket does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained for the time needed to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It stays within the operating team unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, server logs may automatically receive basic technical details:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files used to understand traffic patterns, such as popular pages and typical exit points. Analytics providers aggregate that activity. Browser controls can block cookies, although disabling them may change how some functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Perry County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case information. It publishes reference material about Indiana MyCase, Perry Circuit Court, and the Circuit Court Clerk's request channels. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or records about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted through a tool falls under that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each partner controls its retention and disclosure practices, so review its terms before running a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Perry County offices, Indiana court services, legal-aid resources, and outside search providers. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's own privacy terms apply. Review them before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their systems to track activity across websites for tailored ads. Perry County Court Docket does not operate that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be disclosed to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for collected information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so an unauthorized disclosure can never be ruled out completely.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Notice that a minor supplied such data will prompt a deletion review.
Your Data Rights
Applicable privacy and consumer-protection law may provide additional rights over personal data. The Indiana Access to Public Records Act, Indiana Code 5-14-3, and the Indiana Rules on Access to Court Records govern access to government and court records; they do not turn this private site into the custodian of Perry Circuit Court files. At a minimum, you can:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as practices or legal duties change. The current version will be posted here with a replacement effective date.
